American Kestrel – Falco sparverius

Lori and I went to Prime Hook after a weekend down to Rehoboth Beach. On the way home we stopped and looked around for new birds. Just as we entered the preserve, Lori spotted this guy sitting on the wire. There were two hunting in the field. I was thrilled to get this beautiful bird.
