Common Gallinule – Gallinula galeata

I found these in a pond in the Villages with some American Coots. These are the first birds I am putting in from my visit down to see my mother in Florida in the Villages. Or as I like to say: Disney for old people.

My mother and family were infinitely patient with my need to scour the bushes and reeds for new species. So glad they love me!
