Hooded Merganser – Lophodytes cucullatus

I was so excited to see these! They are so beautiful. The look like punk rockers and stylish chic. There were about a dozen that I kept scaring away as I tried to get closer. I am quite adept at scaring the cool birds. The Northern Mocking bird did not budge as I walk around it, talked to it, shook the tree, set it on fire,… Not really. I just took it’s picture.
