Lesser Yellowlegs – DE

IMG_1888 The Lesser Yellowlegs – Tringa flavipes

I took my son to Bombay Hook last Tuesday.  There were a spectacular number of birds. I must have taken 500 to 600 pictures. I have been combing through the pictures trying to find individual, identifiable species.

This bird seems to follow the migratory patterns of many of the birds we saw last week. From Canada, all the way down to South America. That’s quite a trip.
