Northern Mockingbird – Mimus polyglottos

I wandered down DE route 9 and stopped in Port City. There is a marsh nature walk right off of route 9. I parked and prowled around for a couple of hours.

It was a very nice day for a walk except everyone else thought so too. There were several of these mockingbird near a pond. I kept forcing the birds down the path until they stood their ground in a dead tree. This suited me just fine as I was finally able to see them and photograph them.
