Tree swallow – Tachycineta bicolor

We took our family trip to Yellowstone out west. I caught this bird outside of the gift store. The plumage was amazing – an iridescence blue that the camera just could not capture.

While I took this picture in Wyoming, I could have taken this picture anywhere in Northern United States or Canada.
