Reddish Egret – Egretta rufescens

On the way back from Hernando, My mom drove down a very narrow road. Along the way we saw several people fishing and even one couple who was painting while enjoying some Christmas tunes that were pounding out of their car.

Further down the road, I saw this bird standing on a post looking out into the sunset. I have not seen one in Delaware but I saw several more through the Villages.
