Canada Goose – Branta canadensis

Canada Geese are a common sight in Delaware. If you are from the DE/PA/NJ are you are probably familiar with the Wawa convenience stores. The word wawa means Canada goose. Their return to the area also means the ending of summer.

These pictures are just two of hundreds that I have taken of these amazing birds. Last year, my son and I took our dog for a walk at Carousel Park, not far from our home. I had my son run at the birds and I snapped some of the most amazing pictures as they took flight.
