Double-crested Cormorant – Phalacrocorax auritus

We found these birds while we were up in New Brunswick two years ago. They were in the Bay of Fundy.

I took the kids on a boat tour of the bay and then we stopped and took pictures of the cormorants. They cruised the area, fishing, and sunning on the rocks. They seemed completely oblivious the the extreme tidal changes.
