Eastern Bluebird – Sialia sialis

I saw the Easter Bluebird in Middlerun in Newark and at Valley Forge. I love the pictures of the bluebirds making a nest in a cannon. The irony is priceless. I was really bummed that the cannon pics were a bit blurry.

Now for the informative part of this entry: the oldest record eastern bluebirds was 10 years. However, most eastern bluebirds die in the first year.
