Purple Martin – Progne subis

This fellow was sitting on the wires above the boat slip in Stow Creek State Park in New Jersey.

I honestly thought it was a tree swallow but it was not blue enough when I took a look at it. These are bigger than swallows.

This was the only bird that I captured at Stow Creek.
