Tri-colored Heron – Egretta tricolor

I sound like a broken record but I had no idea what this bird was or even that I had even captured it. A friend pointed out that it was in the picture when I posted it on Facebook.

This bird was previously called the Louisiana Heron. They were lost among the Snowy and Great Egrets at Bombay Hook.
